Hello. I'm having problems with my 91 voyager 3.0 overheating. I just replaced the fan and it won't turn on. I overheated it pretty good a few times recently. The A/C has not worked for years, but the fan did work until recent.

Where is the fan relay located ?

Also I understand the water pump is not an easy one to replace. I think it is leaking now !! Are there any schematics for changing a water pump on a 3.0 ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello again. I bought a Relay switch for the rad fan today. There are 5 Relays in a row on the fender. How do I know which on it is. I don't have a wiring diagram. Can anyone help on this.

Here is a site for the water pump replacement:

http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm?pageId=0900c1528006619b

If you do the water pump you should replace timing belt at the same time since you need to take everything off to do water pump. I have also read that the pipe connector at water pump location may be faulty.

Look at the same site for testing the engine cooling fan procedure. I would think the cover on the relay box should show which relay is for each circuit. Also has wiring diagrams.

hope this helps

I have gone threw all of the possible sections on the AutoZone.com website and connot find the information I need. There are 4 relays on the driver side fender. I need to know which one is the fan relay. I don't understand the wiring diamgrams that I found on autozone.com. Very frustrated now !

Should be the one at the front. wire colors are Grey hot at all times. If there is not battery voltage you more than likely have a burned fusible link. Dark Blue is hot from ignition switch. Dark blue with pink tracer goes to pcm (relay control) Last wire is light green and goes to the fan.
