1995 Buick Lesabre Idling Fast And Speedometer Not Working

I have a 1995 Buick Lesabre with 3.8L V6 engine
Recently it started to idle very fast and the speedometer stopped working.
I have an Actron 9145 and I got codes P1640, P1650 and P1670. the code numbers indicate quad-driver module 1, 2 & 4 problem. I know the devices the quad driver modules control but is it posible that that the three quad driver modules have external components bad all at the same time? I have checked the fuses for these components and all are good. It is possible that the powertrain control module is faulty? Has anybody experienced this problem?

Yes, more than likely the PCM has taken a dump! This is fairly common on the 94-95's with OBD 1.5 transitional PCM's. :crying:

Never quite experienced that problem... But the PCM's for the 94-95 3800's were quite shady... I have had them go bad while driving and cause the gages to drop like a rock... Engine was still running, just had no throttle...

I have had this same PCM actually stall the car out like it was shut off..

To have all of those Quad drives bad at the same time makes me think the PCM may be Belly up as well
