92 parking brake light problem

Hello,
I recently bought a 92 buick park avenue thats in really good shape... except there seems to be a few electrical problems. I had to disassemble the light control module and clean off the points on the relays inside as my headlights werent turning off at night (a rather big problem right?)

Now, the parking brake warning light is turning on. Usually when I turn on the car for the first time a day. It turns on when I make turns and acceleration seems to trigger it too. It will come on, chime for a few seconds, then turn off.

Heres the thing, I know its not the switch connected too the parking brake malfunctioning as I unplugged it today. I engaged the brake to make sure it was disabled and it was. However, the parking brake light came on anyways.

So, is there a relay somewhere for the parking brake light? It just seems like thats what the problem would be since Ive had to deal with bad relays already.

Thanks everyone! Im glad I found this place as Im a huge buick guy (all Ive ever driven were buicks) and Id really like to keep this one rolling for a while. (Only has 42,000 miles.)

Welcome to AF! Have you checked the brake fluid level in the reservoir under the hood?
