How are the cylinders numbered on a 2000 3.4L??

Did GM stick with the standard Even on one side, odd on the other?

and... Which is #1:smile:

TIA

!995 and later 3.4L is odds (towards windshield) on one side, even on the other (towards radiator). #1 being first one from passenger side on windshield side. #2 is first one from passenger side on radiator side (123456).
Hope this helps.

lol... that does help alot.

If I had to guess, I would've said that the front bank was the ODD set with #1 being on the pass side.

That would've been interesting...LOL.

Thanks!!
