Peugeot 407 Coupé !!!
Stefanel1 03-07-2003, 04:41 PM Superb ! The current 406 Coupé Pininfarina won't be ashamed of this new 407 !!!! I love it. It'll appear in mid-2004. Neutrino 03-07-2003, 11:54 PM Me like....:) I-Tech 03-08-2003, 02:53 AM If it was not a french car I'd buy it! Stefanel1 03-08-2003, 04:09 AM hein ???! What do you have against French cars ? I-Tech 03-08-2003, 04:48 AM You can for instance look at the german made TÜV report.. Most french cars have poor quality! This is a fact. Stefanel1 03-08-2003, 09:40 AM Poor quality ? :D sure ! ... could you stop saying dumb things like that please ? My parents got many Citroën Peugeot and Renault (CX, XM, BX, 504, 406, 306, Espace, etc.) and have less problems than on other cars like Opel, Volvo or Mercedes ! And they keep their cars about 3 years and 150 000 km (100 000 miles). Plus, today, french cars are almost as reliable as german or japanese cars. And when there are problems, it's because French cars have an advanced technology (multiplexing, etc.), they try some things before Mercedes, BMW, VW, Toyota or of course GM or Ford.... If you see some figures, the most relible cars in France are 1st : the Peugeot 406, 2d : the Mercedes C Class, 3rd : the Citroën Xantia (at the technical control of 2001). And if French cars were so bad, do you think 1 car over 4 in Europe would be French ? Even Italian cars are today more reliable. And, surely, much more than American ones. Thats what happens when you diss the French :D:D:D:D:D:D LOL good points though Michael- my Renault Laguna, Renault and Peugeot 6O7 never gave me any problems and the Renaults got to 120,000 and 175,000 km's respectively. Of ourse people will be skeptical- but they don't know what they are missing out on :D :D tigermiata 03-10-2003, 11:10 AM That 407 isn't bad looking. OTOH, does it really need a grille opening that large? Stefanel1 03-10-2003, 11:26 AM Jim : lol ! ;) tigermiata : the front won't be exactly the same, it'll surely be more discreet, as the current 406 Coupé (picture). Little Burner 03-12-2003, 12:47 AM  sweet Ran 03-14-2003, 03:17 AM AWESOM car and i like most of the french cars the only problem is that that some of the cars don't have good aceclaration like the renault megan and Kango. Stefanel1 03-14-2003, 07:00 AM It depends on the engine... as on every car. For the Mégane, if you choose the 2.0 Turbo 200 hp, trust me, the accelaration will be good !! ;) And for the Kangoo, indeed it's not a sport car, but it's a Kangoo, I mean a "multispace" derivated from an industrial vehicle (as a VW Caravelle e.g). And for this new 407 Coupé, it'll be available with a new V6 3.0 245 hp and a petrol V6 HDi 180 hp.... so, it's almost (there's alas not a overpowered version like the M3) as good as a 3 Series Coupé. Ran 03-17-2003, 05:40 AM Originally posted by Stefanel1 V6 3.0 245 hp [/B] V6 3.0 245 hp ?, wow thats probebly much faster then the 206:) Stefanel1 03-17-2003, 05:58 AM Indeed, but the 206 RC with 180 hp is fast too. ;) SiRI 03-18-2003, 01:46 PM oo i like :p Jimster 03-18-2003, 10:24 PM The 4O6 Coupe was just one of those cars I didn't want to see redesigned :p so it's relieving to see that Peugeot didn't fuck it up :D Swoxy 03-31-2003, 02:43 PM That's an interesting way of putting it! Yeah the new car looks nice but the grill is too big, I'm sure it won't look like that in real life. The HDi and V6 models will be interesting! vick 04-08-2003, 07:25 AM but the 406 coupé will be redisigned.... it will be a face lift with the front of the 407...:bloated: Stefanel1 04-08-2003, 09:39 AM The front will just have new bumpers and there will be new wheels on the car, that's a little restyling. crayzayjay 04-08-2003, 01:20 PM I much much much prefer the 406 Coupe. Something tells me the 407 isnt styled by Pininfarina? MaximusGTR 04-21-2003, 04:14 PM Man thats tight Stefanel1 04-22-2003, 03:42 AM The new 407 Coupé will be styled by the Peugeot Design Center. I find it very nice too. MaximusGTR 04-23-2003, 05:29 AM Peugeot should be available in the U.S:mad: Stefanel1 04-23-2003, 05:16 PM it will ;) ... but don't expect it before 2007 :( Stefanel1 05-01-2003, 11:12 AM The 406 Coupé will be restlyled before its retirment in 2005 and the coming for the 407 Coupé. Little modifications inside : Stefanel1 05-01-2003, 11:18 AM outside : Ran 05-08-2003, 07:41 AM Originally posted by Stefanel1 Indeed, but the 206 RC with 180 hp is fast too. ;) yup;) it is:) Stefanel1 07-09-2003, 12:44 PM here's a pic of the future 407. Not a very good photo (little) but, you can imagine better ;) crayzayjay 07-26-2003, 07:37 AM Dont like the angle of the front lights Stefanel1 07-26-2003, 09:36 AM You don't like the lights ?!!!! Oh ! ....well, you're English, that's not surprising :D ;) ;) ;) crayzayjay 07-28-2003, 09:58 AM I may live in england, but who said im english :thefinger on a serious note, are you telling me the 407 coupe's front looks as good as the 406 coupe?? Stefanel1 07-28-2003, 12:41 PM .... almost yes. That's different, we must wait to see it in real on the road I think. But I think that the 407 is wonderfull ! ;) French Taste, you're English, you like Pudding, Gelly and Guinness.... you don't know what it means :D :D :D :evillol: Stefanel1 07-28-2003, 12:42 PM :sorry: :smooch: Jimster 07-29-2003, 01:23 AM You people=:screwy: :thefinger crayzayjay 07-31-2003, 04:06 AM hehe... somebody needs to bring humour to AF, you should be thankful we do! Stefanel1 07-31-2003, 01:20 PM :D :D :D Gabro 11-13-2003, 04:21 PM It' s very nice car, but this front- similar to 307 ( I don't like it). It would be more interesting in live. In the matter of quality- I'm not sure that german car are better (especially Opel). My only problems with 406 coupe are the electrical parts. The engine and all machanical side are good. In my opinion the best cars are made in Japan! crayzayjay 11-14-2003, 04:21 AM Hi, i know you're new here so welcome to AF. I should however point out that it is against AF rules to revive a dead thread, i.e. one that has been inactive for 3 months. Happy posting AutomotiveHelper.com, Copyright ©2013
