i'm new to the new ways of engines old school man i'm fixing to try to install a ls4 into my 95 z-28 am i going to have a lot of problems if so what could they be and could use pointers from you pros out there poormillionaire2 06-13-2008, 09:33 PM May I ask why an LS4? That's an uncommon engine for f-body swaps. I mean, most pick the LS1 or LS2. I just read an article of one of the first LS3 swaps into an SS. Anyways, you'll need a wiring harness for the LS4, new tranny, and at least new motor mounts if not a new crossmember for the LS4. But the LS4, as far as I know, is for FWD cars. stone_mound_camaro 06-13-2008, 10:23 PM probably the only v8 he has available to him..if thats all i had id try to make it work too! fyrestormy 06-15-2008, 03:25 PM thanks for the reply poor millionaire but girlfriend made typo error it is a factory ls2 out of 96 vette:shakehead Mr. Luos 06-15-2008, 03:49 PM thanks for the reply poor millionaire but girlfriend made typo error it is a factory ls2 out of 96 vette:shakehead The LS1 came out in 1997 in the C5 Corvettes. The LS2 was released several years later. I think 2005. Are you thinking LT4? Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
