I have looked at 40 pages and can't find an answer. I don't see where to go for FAQ. This 99 Taurus works fine exept for the 1-2 shift which is fairly hard at any throttle positiion. Motor mounts are good. Oil is not burnt. No engine light, but have not checked for codes yet. Please help if you can.

i, too, am waiting to see if anyone offers a procedure for this (apparently common) problem
