turn signal problem

i have a 99 expo that the trun signals sometimes dont work. everything els works fine. i'm thinking it may be the relay but cant find it. any ideas ?

You might need to change your blinker fluid.

checked that and the muffler bearings too. no problems with eather You might need to change your blinker fluid.

LOL too funny. If i'm not mistaken you should have a LCM in that truck which could be your problem. Did you try spraying contact cleaner into the turn signal switch? to see if it helps? fords are known for bad turn signal switches.

I have the same problem on my 2002 Expedition, but I haven't tried that to determine if the problem can be corrected in such a manner. I'll try that, but if that is the problem, should someone not inform Ford about this as this could mean a bent wire on the switch connector or something.

Anyway, did the hazards lights work during the problem with the turn signals. Mine do.
