oil in spark plug tubes

already replaced the seals
i still have oil in there

do i have a cracked head or need to replace the tubes

If you have oil in the tubes, it kinda sounds like worn piston rings is part of the problem. I would think that if there is oil in all the tubes it would least likely be a cracked head, but if the oil is in one tube then the head could be cracked.

Check to make sure the tubes are tight in the head I had to clean one and reinstall with lock-tight.

They didnt shift when you put them in did they?I had that happen once.Brand new seals and still had oil in 2 tubes.Removed and added a small amount of silicone to them so they wouldnt shift and they sealed fine.
