My 95 TSI will start and drive great until it warms up , usually after around 5 miiles and will stall when you stop and won't start until it cools after around 4-5 mins. What,s causing this... It's driving me nuts as the engine has < 5000 miles on engine.:frown:

Sounds like the IAC (idle air controller) is bad on it... But that is just my guess at it...

Somebody pointed this thread out to me being in the wrong section, so I'll move it to the Talon section for you so you'll receive more help with the problem. :)

Crank the BISS open a bunch of turns and see what happens. It will take a long time for the ISC long term to adjust, so you might have to deal with a high idle for a while. But do it and see what happens. If the ISC is closing fully or too far or is out of range, perhaps the FIAV was the only thing letting air in. I would also rehome the ISC by resetting the ECU. You'll hear it chattering the first time you turn the key on after resetting the ECU. Try that first, then the BISS adjustment.

To actually set the BISS right, you need a scan tool that shows ISC steps. In the absense of that, you can get it in the ballpark by getting the motor good and warm, like after a long drive, then reset the ECU by removing power for a few minutes, start the motor, and after about 10 seconds set the idle for your ECU's target idle speed (750 for stock ECU). That will get the BISS adjustment in the ballpark.

All of this of course assume your ISC is working. It's not uncommon for them to work cold and not when warm, but a 5 minute cooldown doesn't seem like enough to get one working again so I'm skeptical for now.
