95 eclipse rs, ready to trash it..........

I have had the car about 2 years now, first year the car did great no problems then I started having problems with all the electrical. I have bought new fuel pumps, new computers, new coilpacks, new cam sensors and crank sensors, new oxygen sensors. Every time I turn around I get a code p1391 and nothing has fixed teh code or the stuttering problem the car has. I'm seriously ready to trash this car and the 96 gsx i bought just because i really wanna be through with mitsu's

P1391 Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP

What exactly does that mean?

From what i understand its eithe the cam poisition sensor (cmp) or crank position sensor (ckp) not sending a steady signal, i have checked teh wires for any resistance or weak signal but that has also proved no such luck.

Where do you live and if you are serious about getting rid of the car I may be interested in buying it =)

Two totally different map sensors between the rs 420a motor and the gsx 4g63 motor.

The 4g63 has a MAF, it doesn't even have a MAP sensor.

The 4g63 does have a map sensor. I dont think the 1g's did, but I know the 2g's do
