Hey i was wondering if a lancer is good for streetracing. If so what year would be the best and is it easy to find upgraded parts for it. drdisque 06-05-2008, 12:13 AM Non Evo lancers are very slow cars. I would not recommend them for any kind of racing. Also, street racing is for immature losers. If you street race that makes you a loser too. Grow up, get a life, and take it to a real track. Seriously I have not seen any person not help do yourself a favor and get out of the forums... Anyway... To answer your question (RACING THE LANCER) You can do that, but you might want an intake an exhaust, and NOS. You'll win if your skilled. And if your car is stick shift of course. Also swap your tires, change your breaks (trust me) and change your spark plugs. You'll be racing in no time. There is more that you need to do. But this is only the beginning, oh yeah and don't get pulled over. brukewilliams 09-07-2008, 10:18 PM Mitsubishi’s brutish turbo-diesel Racing Lancer, is set to make its official debut in round six of the 2008 FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup in Portugal, towards the end of October. With an eye on Dakar 2009, the off-road Lancer will showcase the versatility of the current Lancer platform. More than just a jacked up Sport back Lancer, the Racing Lancer has seen some 8,000kms of testing in some of the harshest environments to ensure its up to the challenges ahead. ====================== Brukewilliams car auctions (http://cars.gov-auctions.org/) Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
