Toyota pick-up floor shifter?

Son's 94 toyota pickup had the floor shifter arm break. didn't know untill now but it was welded once before. It's a option to do again but replacement a better idea for me.
Question I have is in getting a replacement from the junk yard what year transmissions might have the same part. if the mounting is the same (rectangular with 4 phillips screws holding it to the trans) will any work or are there different inside the trans mounting.
I don't have the truck close by to match the parts, He's got a piece of pipe over thw stub and it's a very tempory fix I want to get a replacement so I can swap it out when he gets home this weekend.

If you are sure it's only 4 bolts that hold the tranny shifter mount in, that means it's a G58 tranny, used from 89-95.
The other tranny used in that same time period is the W56-C/D/E, which use 6 bolts to hold the common mount for the tranny and t-case shifters.

The shifter can be removed from the cast aluminum mount, and are interchangeable from at least 84 onward, which should make things easier.

Thanks,
It is 6 bolts and the truck is home now so I can see it.
the truck has been raised and thats why it was welded before it has a rectangle boot and the arm lays to the back so I may need to re-weld the one in it but I will scout the junk yards today and get a replacement in case a standard shifter will fit (the tranny is about 4 inches below the boot mounting surface.
I really appreciate your input, knowing that if I find a 4 bolt that matches I can switch arms will make my search easier. I saw another truck and its shifter only had one bend and ours has more to add height so I'm thinking a 4WD shifter as his truck is raised a little. on my way to J Y now.

12 hours later - damn 3 junk yards and only one Toyota pickup with a trans and it was the wrong one. guess I'll have to re weld the one we have. they don't give thier Toyotas up very easy. rows and rows of domestic trucks/vans though.

Sounds like someone put a 3" body lift and did a crappy job modifying the shifters.

there is about a 3 inch lift but thinking about the shifter mod. it may have lasted 14 years before the weld failed so on that basis I think it did fair. I can prepare the parts for welding myself and find someone with a welder (my son can weld) lucky that his temporary fix is as solid as the real fix so I have some time to keep looking. I looked at the shifter and as usual the failure was next to the weld on the added piece of material but when we fix it if it gets another 14 we'll be happy
