well i have had a ses light on now for a week with code p0405 that sets it i can clear the code and as soon as i do it back took egr off and its clean and moves freely. the 3 codes i keep getting are p0405 with a p1133 and the they set a p0300 code ever few miles. i can't figure out whats wrong i have a live data scanner so i can read whats my engines sensors are doing 100% of the time and from what i can tell everything looks ok . one o2 sensors runs and like 50-100 v higher then the other one at times so idk it thats got anything to do with it or not all i know is the ses light is annoying and with the price of gas now days i can't afford to be having something wrong with my emissions right now cuaseing my mpg's to get even worse then what they are on this engine.anyways truck is a 2001 s10 pickup 4x4 with a 4.3l v6 dtcs p0405 with a p1133 and they set a po300 ever few miles any help would be great. thanks

How many and what cylinders missfires?
What is the camshaft retard reading?
Fix the missfire.

Code 1133
May clear when missfire is fixed.
Check fuse and 02 sensor heater circuits.

ok the egr valve i don't know what the readings are because of the p0405 code that is the code that is causing all my problems the p1133 i am not sure of as to why that code is coming up i have all new 02 sensors in and the p0300 code only came up 2 times in the last 3 weeks so the only code i need some help with now is the po405 and possibly the p1133 . i know there has to me someone out there that knows whats going on with is dumb computer stuff in my truck .. thanks for any help ahead of time

To check out or test for the egr valve code you need a engine capable scanner to read out the egr data and do the egr valve test.
In other word you need a scanner and the repair flow charts for the code you are repairing.
The repair flow charts and repair info can be found in the all data online repair info sub. 24.95$ usa plastic a year.
And a good engine capable scanner is also a haft to have on the repairs.

If you are getting a missfire code it needs to be checked out also.
On the 1133 code check 02 sensor fuse and wiring.

Anything else is just throwing parts at it.

One the egr code first step is with your scanner is to read the actual and desires egr position readings.
We would need tthem readings to be able to help you.
Or
The repair flow charts and repair info and help can be found in the all data online sub.
If you need help with the repair get a good factory repair manual or the all data sub and they will lead you right threw it.
