Hello,i just ran into this yesterday.replacing rear brake shoes i found the new linings were no better than the ones i removed.I'll explain customer complaned of noise in brakes after inspecting the r/r brakes were metal to metal & l/r was'nt too far behind.the rebestos brake linings were 2/32 new!!!
now in pa. the state i use to work in a bonded lining needed to be 2/32 or thicker to pass inspection.in talking to auto parts shop said the thicker linings were making it impossible to install the drum after replacing shoes as per rebestos representative.so anyone else ran into this!!!!2000 dodge stratus thanks for your respones.

I think you got a used set in a new box. I would check your adjuster unless it is close to all the way in I would check another companies product.
