I am losing about half a tank of coolant a week.
A couple years ago my heater core went and I had them bypass it.
Since I am in Florida it was not that necessary.
Now can there still be a leak associated with heater hoses even though it was bypassed?
It is happening on the passenger side. Now I know that I have a manifold gasket leak, but from what I am seeing and the location of the drips I don't see the manifold as the immediate problem. Water pump is okay. The problem is when I got under there I can't see anything because of the body plates.
Obviously I will have to take the plate off but wanted to find out about any possivle heater connection.

If you want to make sure its not the heater core just check the connection where they bypassed it. If its dry then i wouldnt worry about it. If your car emits white smoke then it may be burning coolant. Since you know you have a manifold leak i would deal with that first before it gets worse.
