I can't believe I never shared this story.

My wife was working part time as a delivery driver back in March, and she was run off the road by a Semi-truck on I-69 just east of Lapeer Michigan. The roads were clear and dry, but there was still a lot of snow on the ground in the median. When she steered to avoid getting run over by the truck, the left front tire hooked the snow, and she flipped 3-4 times. The car came to rest in the median right-side-up, but the sunroof had blown out and it was 1/2 full of snow. For insurance reasons, I don't have any pictures to post, but incredibly, she walked away with only a broken pinky fingernail!

Rest assured, 97-03 Regals (the one she was driving was a 99 LS model) are a well built, safe car.

No doubt in my mind Rich. I gave my wife a choice of a Japanese econobox before she settled on her '99 LS. But she saw a Honda Civic rear ended one day and it did not look too good. :grinno: So the decision was a no brainer.
