1997 Dodge Ram maxi van heater core?

The other day I notice the smell of antifreeze and looked under the hood and was all dry, the next morning we were going to town and one of the kids said why is it smoking over her by the window?? Well it was steam apparently I have a hose or heater core leak in the rear.. I don't see anything dripping on the ground...

Do I get to the heater core from inside or out ??

anyone have any tips ??
