how do i remove the fuel pressure regulator from my 95 astro? it has the plenum. i cant even see the regulator from the front how is the best way to do it? dog box ? brcidd 05-10-2008, 09:44 PM You undress the top and front of the plenum and unbolt it and lift it off- do you have symptoms of a bad spider assembly- or a leak down? ltacj5 05-10-2008, 10:09 PM it wont start but it fires. sometimes runs for a few seconds. i pulled iac but still messed up. will start right away with a spray of eather but only runs rough for a few seconds. i dont know symptoms of spider or leak down. i do know the spider has been changed once awhile age. acording to pre owners records old_master 05-12-2008, 06:27 PM Check fuel pressure and leakdown before you take anything apart. It will tell what the problem is and save you a bunch of time and money. Key on, engine off, fuel pump running, fuel pressure must be 60psi to 66psi.
