'09 Camaro Concept Racer

I started this project a few months ago. I originally thought this would be an IROC or TransAm type of concept racer.

I added a front splitter and rear wing. Most of my mods to the chassis were to fit the challenge wheels and resin brakes.

Here I was trying out some decals to make a generic racing scheme.
I'll probably end up using some different ones from Nascar or C6-R kits.

The interior was borrowed from a nascar kit, and scratch built.

It will also get a dual exhaust.

All these cool racers being built from the new wave of modern-retro American muscle! I love it and I think those wheels are going to be exactly what's going to give this car the exact right look. I can't wait to see how this comes together. Interesting start!
