radiator fan

radiator fan runs constant. where is the thermostat that controls this and is it easy to replace.:banghead:

Does it run when the key is off or do you mean it runs constantly while the engine is running? What year is it?

Does it run when the key is off or do you mean it runs constantly while the engine is running? What year is it?1989 and it runs w/ key off. i removed battery cable to see if it would possibly reset some way, but it didnt

The ECM (computer) controls when the fans come on by energizing the coolant fan relays. My 1st guess is that you have a bad relay. I'll see if I can find a wiring diagram.

I couldn't find a good wiring diagram but we can check it out without one. I believe the coolant fan relays are mounted on the firewall. You can unplug the relay & check it out. Do you have a multimeter?
