any one know the sizes of the bolts that holds the fuel tank straps on a 99 astro want to make sure have everything i need to drop the tank thanks in advance brcidd 05-03-2008, 07:10 PM Why not re-use the old ones? Blue Bowtie 05-04-2008, 12:06 AM Don't forget the penetrating oil for removal, and anti-seize for assembly. You'll also need a 5/16" or 8mm socket for the clamps on the fill and overflow hoses, a T20 Torx for the screws in the fuel filler door, and a good pair of chain nosed pliers and small Chan-Nel-Locks to remove the speed nuts holding the wire harness to the left side of the tank.
