So I guess they got mad when they only got the faceplate so they just decided to thrash the car :(. Well, i'm gonna go clean up some glass. Also you probably need a new car anyways. No offence, but at least your getting moeny out of it. O WELL WAT CAN U DO RITE? SORRIE 2 HEAR THE BAD NEWS:( :( 90CorollaSR5 03-04-2003, 12:02 PM Only reason i'm calm about it is because I have no idea who did it and I doubt I ever will. On the otherhand... if I do find out who did it.. ;). Only way I could find out is if they left a finger print on the jack knife they left, but police don't usually check for prints unless it was a murder or something. Yea, filed an insurance claim, but I just bought this car a few months ago, I was growing attached to it ;). 90CorollaSR5 03-04-2003, 01:40 PM I've got a question. Is the vehicle a write off if the damage is more than the value of the car? The vehicle was a write off before, it was in an accident then it was repaired and I bought it from a car lot. Thanks in advance. Self 03-04-2003, 02:10 PM Originally posted by 90CorollaSR5 I've got a question. Is the vehicle a write off if the damage is more than the value of the car? If the damage is more than the value, your car is totalled:( 94svt5.0 03-04-2003, 04:33 PM Actually, if the damage totals 65 percent or more of the vehicles total value, it can be totalled. Depends on the policy though, right? 94svt5.0 03-04-2003, 05:52 PM Might be. Just know thats how my policy is setup. fatninja19 03-04-2003, 06:34 PM Well if your car ends up being a total loss, then you can get another corolla.. an AE86!!! Yayyy!! 90CorollaSR5 03-04-2003, 07:18 PM Well, wasn't a writeoff, just $2100 dollars to repair  . Taking it into a body shop tomorrow. Damnit! thieves should take people's schedules into consideration before thrashing their cars! ;) NSX-R-SSJ20K 03-05-2003, 05:45 AM Originally posted by 90CorollaSR5 Well, wasn't a writeoff, just $2100 dollars to repair  . These days I just wait inside the car at night with my shotgun ready to blow them mo-fos away like the worthless garbage they are:devil: Polygon 03-09-2003, 02:44 AM You know what I would do if I ever found the person that did that to my car? Well neither do I, but you can bet your ass it wouldn't be very pretty. I can't stand theft and vandalism with a passion. Concealed weapons permit. Hey, it was self defense.
