1994 cavalier shakes

I need a bit of assistance. When I drive between 60 and about 75 mph my car shakes so violently that cd's won't play in my cd player and I can't make out anything clearly in my mirrors. When I hit 80 or drive below 60 though, the problem seems to vanish. I've had my vehicle for close to a year now and I don't believe it's always had this problem. The only thing that happened that I can think of is I hit a curb pretty hard to avoid another car at one point. If anyone could help me figure this out it would be much appreciated.

My guess is an out of balance wheel.

if you hit a curb hard you could have broken a belt in your tire or knocked something out of whack in your front end. Take it in for an alighnment and balence. if they see anything wrong they'll let you know.

probly a wheel needs balanced, mine did that after i hit a huge pot hole and i threw a weight off the front tire, it only shook when i got to the same speeds you described.
