Checking the output voltage of a maf sensor at the pcm terminal I got 2.43v@ idle. When I gave the car a little throttle the reading went down to about 2.35v. Is this normal? I thought the output was supposed to rise with more air passing across the wire::popcorn:

A full function scanner is the best method of testing. Click Here (http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/17/8e/d2/0900823d80178ed2/repairInfoPages.htm) for more info.

Just a funny comment....years ago I had an 88 Buick Century which would stall out on occasion. The dealer wanted to hook up scanners, which of course was not gonna' be free, so I took the car to a little country garage and the old fellow came out listened to my story and then hit the MAF with the handle of a large screwdriver. The car immediately stalled. "There is your problem he said"
He was right...picked up a used one from the wreckers and never had a problem after.
