Oil Pressure Gauge "Pinned"

Recently I Installed a Intake Manifold Gasket due to overheating and when I replaced the components I noticed that my Oil Pressure Gauge was completely over to the right reading excessive oil pressure. So, I changed the filter and oil only to find it remained the same reading. Looking for the Oil Pressure Sending Unit was useless, as I could NOT Find it and I was told that it was in the area of the distrubutor. Has anyone experienced this problem? And if so could they be specific as to where the Oil Pressure Sending Unit is located and how to troubleshoot the problem. Now, either the wire has been cut/grounded or the sending unit is not connected, I am not sure which it is. So, where is the Oil Pressure Sending Unit Located Specifically, What wire connection is it tied into? How can I visually see this component and what is its identifying factor? I really feel that there is an electrical problem as it functioned normally prior to installing the intake manifold gasket? Also why is there antifreeze under the vehicle when there is pressure on the radiator after installing these gaskets. I am interested to know and anxious to resolve. Thanks, Mike in Concord NH:banghead:

Oil sending unit is under the distributor..you have to remove it to see it...I would bet that you broke the sending unit (like i did) while putting on the intake...mine was also pinned. Replace the sending unit (20.00) and your problem will be fixed.
