that happened to me as soon as the weather started getting warm. I used some belt dressing (its basically like a lube/adhesive) and it took care of it for me. Its a temporary fix but worth a shot.

well, the belts are BRAND NEW! and they are pretty "Lubed" as they are... i think that is why they are squealing in the first place? i dont really know what else to do... but its really embarrasing when i start my car in a crowded parking lot...

How tight are they? Take the belts between two pulleys and try "spin" the belt. Deflection should be no more/less than 90*. Adjusting accordingly.

Yeah I have to tighten to poo poo out of mine to keep it from squeeling, and I have to keep tightening it every xxx miles to keep it quiet.

Well if he said it was tight to spec, then I would take the tensioner pulley on the serpentine side and lube that bad boy up. I did it on my car and it fixed that problem, you have to slide the guide from behind the bracket....aww shit 4G63T in your bay. Well if it is a mechanicaltensioner pulley do it anyway. I promise it will work.

mine has done this since day one, i've replaced the belt and the pully and it still does it. I have just learned to live with it

i will go no p/s / A/C before i LIVE with it... :runaround: and keep in mind, i'm in Texas, its WELL over 100* here for 4 months a year... i HATE starting my car in public... GRRR!!!! going crazy on this shit thursday! i'll let you know, i'm pretty sure a LARGE majority of the noise is coming from the A/C belt, i can change how loud the sound is by turing on/off my a/c... ;) lets see what happens...
