The e-brake on my 98 Blazer does not work. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. I tried to adjust the cable but just got a stiff pedal and still no brake. Disc brakes are a lot different than drum brakes so I have no idea what I am looking at. Is this a simple fix ?

Could be parking brake pads frozen or without know it you may have adjusted incorrectly. Go to the online service manualincluding TSB an Recall thread in this section and it will give you complete prodecure for adjusting front and rear cables.

Hopoe this helps

If your e brake cable goes inside of wheel instead of to the caliper you will have a e brake shoe inside the caliper.
