Hello, I'm new here and have done searches and only found 1 posting that suggested pulling the carpet back and drilling a hole large enough for a socket. This is my delima.
I am trying to remove the transmission in a 95 Jimmy that is not a 4x4. The Chilton book on it says GMC recommended lifting the body from the frame and placing blocks at the body/frame bolt locations to reach the top transmission to motor bolts.
I was wondering if anyone on here might have some tricks up y'alls sleeves in getting these bolts out Without having to do either of the 2 mentioned tips.
Thanks in advance and my apologies if I there was an over sight on my part if I missed a posting of the past.
