Throttle position sensor

Is there any way to check this sensor myself without having to have a computer diagnostic run? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can take a voltmeter and hook it up and test, I believe pin 1 and 3 and it should come back with a certain resistance. Not sure what it is exactly though, but it's super easy and obviously cheap.
