We need to ID your transfer case first.
Does you 4W buttons have the auto button?
Also a id tag on the back of transfer case.
233-236 or other.
Post back id.

If a 236 transfer case you will need a transfer case/transmission capable scanner to get codes or check or test it out.
Got of good shifting test and info in a good capable scanner.
Post back any codes.

Yes I did read your post.
Your post are very short on info but from you having the auto shift button I asume you have a 236 transfer case.
Did you check the ID tag to be sure?
Did you read my no 4 post back?

As stated you need a transfer case capable scanner to get transfer case codes or test the shifting.

99 times out of a hundred you will have codes past present or stored if it is not shifting right.

Tell us how and what kind of a scanner did you used to check for codes?

Red brick is my middle name?
What cartiage are you using?
OBD11 or engine specific?
Did it communicate with the transfer case and body and transmission computers.
Any readings on transfer case module?
