#1 Clean the throttle body and clean / replace PCV valve
#2 Eliminate the egr valve, make custom gaskets and plate with steel
#3 Cold air intake w/K+N filter
#4 Eliminate Catillatic Converter / Remove Platnium from it
#5 Straight pipe from the cat to a high flow muffler, eliminating two of the resignators
#6 Clean valves of carbon, the 6G73 engine will carbon up if running 87 octane gas, depending on the buildup u could have to take off the heads, or be as simple as running some supreme with injector cleaner
#7 Change the oil regularly
#8 Check the spark of the wires using a gapping tool to be sure the sparkplug is getting good power, Use dielectic grease on both ends of the wire and make sure you are using platnium spark plugs
#9 Change the rotor button, and inspect the distributor cap for cracks
#10 Convert the car to a manual transmission, Mercury cougar as well as 5-spd sebrings will fit with limited modifications
