In the city I used to get around 13. The last couple of months my car has been hesitating when I accelerate, and struggles to get up to speed without stomping on the gas pedal. Sound like I am in dire need of a tune up, but yet I am managing to squeese out an extra 20-25 miles per tank. On my last fill up last Thurs. I checked and was around 15 mpg. So I hesitate to get that tuneup. Go figure. Last hwy I was getting around 23mpg. Don't know what it is currently.

Last fill up the average was 24 mpg. I do mostly highway driving and I'm light on the pedal. That's still with a little in-town driving and going up a mountain 1,000' everyday (but not touching the gas pedal for four miles going down).

I have a 95 with 268,500 and I am getting an average of 22 - 23 mpg
I absolutely love this car and drive it gently. I have a lot of weight in the trunk because of many tools I use and other stuff which if they were not there, I am sure the milage would increase at least another 1-2 mpg.
Easy starts and gentle on the pedal will help very much for those of you who are rabbit starters.

highway 24+ I never do just highway
225 miles highway with 125 miles city is consistantly 22-23 mpg

I am Not easy on the pedal I almost always drive 5-7 over the limit and I probably have an extra 100-150 lbs in the trunk all the time.

this car got 24.3 mpg on a 3300 mile AZ, NM, Co, NV, CA vacation last June in 100+ temperatures 117 was the highest. The car was fully loaded with 2 adults, 2 kids a full trunk and a packed rack on the back connected to my class 3 hitch.
:grinno: :grinyes:
I lose 1-1.5 MPG by not running Amsoil.

If you want to increase you milage then you should definitely change your fuel filter and air filter. New plugs are a big plus too.
Happy motoring!

I know this is not the subject, but I'm trying to get info on a suspended licence hearing I have next month. A friend told me to drive to Arizona get an address and get a new license there. Is this posible or a wast of time?
