Familair with 2000 GTP Daytona 500? jessiebighamKC 04-08-2008, 12:27 AM
Hey is anyone familair with the 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Daytona 500? I just went n bought it for $7,500 with 84,000miles on it. Ive also got a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP! But is there anything special about this one that I need to know? Also does anyone know where I can get a rebuilt alternator with more amps and volts? Also point me in the right direction of a cold air intake? Ive looked at them but do they come with the tubing that goes from to throttle body to the airbox? Im wanting to go with SLP Cold Air Intake! But it doesnt say if it comes with the tubing for that. BNaylor 04-08-2008, 11:01 AM The aftermarket CAI/FWI kits normally come with all hardware necessary to make it a total bolt on operation and that includes the air intake duct from the CAI to the throttle body input. My Thrasher came with it. If you look closely the SLP kits are similar. See install guide below for a Thrasher kit.
