98 lesabre disc brake wear pad location. Top or Bottom?

Hello,
I was in too big of a hurry when changing my brakes. I forgot to verify my right and left side outer disc pad. Does the wear tab go on top or bottom? It looks like it goes on top.

It goes on the bottom. The rotor approaches that before it gets to the pad.If they're reversed, I wouldn't worry about it. Just check the brakes occasionally.

I haven't had one of those start chirping on any recent car because the inner pads always wear before the out pads do.

Well the reason I posted is because I don't know which is correct. I had a 50/50 chance of putting them on correct. Which way do you say they go. I see that the person who wrote the reply has a 1998 lesabre. He says the tab goes on the bottom. What does anyone else say? Base it on the car you drive.

It is the same for all cars that go in a forward direction! The wear indicator goes on the bottom!
