ok. i havent been out in ages, so i decieded to go out on a cruise. called up my buddies, and we all met up at the old spot. chilled out for a minute, and then decided to do a local 'lap'. we were messing around until we hit a light. i lined up in the middle, my friend in his jetta 95ish auto on my left, and his brother in a sc1 saturn on my right.

light turns green, and we take off. right away, by 40 mph, im ahead by a car on the jetta, and 2 cars on the saturn. we keep going to 65, and i had 3 cars on the jetta, and maybe 2 1/2 busses on the saturn. i slowed down, and we all had fun.

this apparently caught the attention of a local 05 sentra spec v.

this was my chance to see how slow i am to a spec. we cruised for a bit, punching the gas here and there, and a 95ish cavalier z24 lined up too.

we ended up going from a 50mph roll, and gunned it, as the spec honked us down. i punched it, and the cavi was with me, and the spec as 1/2 car by 60. at 75, the spec was up a bus, and i was ahead of the cavi by 1 1/2 cars. we all slowed down, and the spec turned one way, and i followed.

ended up talking to the guy, and he was pretty chill. we talked for a bit about our cars, and i guess i got him the info to go to opening weekend on sunday to see what he runs in the 1/4. also talked him into going autocrossing on the 20th. i guess nissan guys are just chill. he had intake, header, exhaust, flywheel, lowering springs.

as i was driving back home, i lined up with a turbo 1.8t like gotian has, but white. light went green, and at 20mph, i was ahead due to him with a crappy launch. but by 40 mph, he passed me and put at least 2 busses on me. to my knowlage i could tell he had done the free boost mod. diddnt see him again though.

will be going to the track on sunday. high 15s or bust! realistically, i think ill run a mid 16 though...:(

2001 sentra se. yes its in my avatar lol. well, those emblems dont exist anymore. the last year of the sr20de. has a bit more tq, but lost some top end, and its more 'tame' i guess you can say. it seems the aftermarket has forgotten about this version of sr20de, as there is only 1 set of cams available for it, and they are pretty mild. also, the internals arent as strong as its older siblings, as it cant hold boost as well. an earlier sr20 can hold up to maybe 300ish on the stock block, when my version can hold maybe 260, and anythign past that is broken ring land.

OK so Ive got a 2002 Bora Jetta 1.8T!I just got it and I want to do some stuff to it but not sure what. So far I just got a cold air intake and some rims and exhaust. What can I do to run more PSI with my stock turbo. Right now its at 8psi and I read that you can turn it up to 11 without any major mods. So just wondering what I can do to turn it up. O yea what can I do during the winter to stop water from getting in my intake since its by the ground, Ive heard of sponges u can put in your intake but cant seem to find any!

Nice. I will soon be racing a friend of mine who has a 1.8T Jetta in my VR4...bwahahaha. Although, from what he tells me it does have some get up and go to it. After being in the VR4 he told me he just wanted to find out how bad he would lose but it should still be fun. I'm sure I would probably get beat if I was in my SL.

A truck and something else. It seems that the truck actually left the highway and traveled over 100 yards to its final resting point. Its scary because I know the exact fucking spot where it happened, and have raced through there before, and it can get kinda tight. If the cops weren't cracking down locally already...

I haven't heard anything new, but the truck was defuckingstroyed. The only way I could tell it was a Dodge ram was the wheel. Two have been hospitalized, a third car left the scene.

I want to race an STi bad... and confuse the fuck out of him when I walk him.

And all those races are rolls. The WRX was hella fast, had to be ~300whp. atleast. He got the jump both times pretty bad, but he was still a faster car.

Lots of Porche races cassies. The only Lightning we have here is missing about half its parts :D

We know the guy with the WRX and he has a few mods! 2002 with intake, turbo-back exhaust, clutch.....oh and the like 1000cc injectors on an E-85 tune running 21 psi! Its pretty crazy fast for the stock turbo, he jumped both races but we would have still probably lost by a car or two. By the time we got a little past 100 he quit pulling, but was a few lengths ahead so we didnt have time to pull back:frown:

In my case, massive accident shut down the highway durring morning rush hour two days ago, street racing was the cause. A Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab was scooting like a bitch, clipped another car, and went flying (the truck) about 100-115 yards over the highway and access road, into a parking lot. Another car fled the scene. So I'm just not gonna risk posting about racing right now, not till things around here calm down.
