I was cruisin around tonight and the check engine light just decide to come on.My car has been runnign rich so maybe the o2 sensors are fouled. But my car is boosting to 20psi. When i floor it and se it go to 20psi i let off. I usually dont let it get that high. I usually only go to 10 psi. But yeah I mean I hate that its on!!!

So what? Is there a question you need answered or something? And besides, this is pretty much a double post anyways since you already made a thread about your 20psi boost. I don't post on here a whole lot, but I read just about every day and your threads are getting pretty ridiculous. You should do some searching before you post or at least come up with a question you want answered.

Also, you never said what sort of gauge you were using in the OTHER thread about this problem. Take the car to Autozone to check your engine light.

You gave no symptoms or details, as you often forget to do in your posts. How could anybody know why your CEL was on just because you were out cruising the streets. It's a commonly known fact that Autozone will do free CEL scans for OBDII cars. The problem is almost always a sensor of some sort. You should always give details if you want a question answered. Or you should ask a question to begin with. Good grief :disappoin

I have a vaccuum leak somewhere I think ...would that explain why my cars wants to die at idle?

When i floor it and se it go to 20psi i let off. I usually dont let it get that high. I usually only go to 10 psi.

If your racing all these super slow cars like Vipers, STi's, and SRT4s, then how are you doing it w/ out going over 10 psi? Are you using muffler bearings? I read a little bit about them and how they can had a whole lot of BS HP!!

Who are you trying to fool in several of your other posts you talk about all these street kills so you are allowing the car up to 20 psi in order to "beat" them.

If you want your CEL problem fixed you could at least post an error code or some symptoms of whats going on w/ the car. And yes a vacuum leak could cause you not to idle worth a damn.

Even if you don't have an Autozone to check the CEL, you can still do the key-switch test where the CEL will flash a certain number of times revealing what the code is. We can't tell you, hey, your CEL is caused by _THIS_! Although I think we all know what it MAY be. But you have to get it checked.

Dude, you car idles like shit bc your BOV isin't recirculated. I dont see that you have any supporting mods to go to 20psi. If you are still on stock injectors your pretty much begging that motor to blow. The ECU may be detecting over boost and that why you get the cel.

We have no idea why the light came on. The only way to find out is for you to get the car scanned. If no place does it free in canada then maybe you should just buy a cheap obd2 scanner. Or if you hook up dsmlink it would tell you.

Unfortunately 0-60 is right we don't have autozone in Canada. I bought my own personal obd2 reader for like100 bucks just for times like this. However, most local shops will run the code for you for free (it just involves plugging it in and pressing a button.) Bodack is right you should definitely give us as much information as you can to help us help you. My first instinct is o2 sensor because you are venting and running really rich. But we can't do anything without the code. Get that code checked for free and we will tell you the possible things that caused it no problem.
Vacuum leaks can be checked by boost leak tests.
Here is a quick link on how to perform them that I made

Ps DSMLINK will read your code for you don't you have that?
Oh yea and Silvr is right and so is David and NEd

Reading about all the advice that has been given to you 0-60 reminds me of a few lyrics from that song entitled "Everybody is free to wear sunscreen" maybe you should read this and take every word in no matter how corny they sound.

"Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia; dispensing it is a way of wishing the past from the disposal--wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts, and recycling it for more than it's worth."

I know that it may sound corny but what I'm trying to say is stop making numerous useless threads when sometimes all you need to do is take the advice that people give you. Re-circulate that BOV and get back at us.

well my car runs rich too but i mostly fixed the problem by adjusting the air fuel ratio screw, and my check engine light is always on dont know y,but when i took it to the mechanic and had it hooked up to a computer it read no codes,no errors,no problems it said nothing,so what should i do to fix my car??

Ya know what... It's not even worth my time to open your threads anymore... :disappoin

Seriously... Recirculate your BOV, change your timing belt, and use a little more common sense before wasting everyones time with a post like this. We are not mind readers to what your CEL is for and we certainly can't read it over the internet for you. Do what Steviek said to do and do some proper work on your car...

Oh and just for the record, there is no way you are running 20psi on a t-25. A worn out stock one would never produce that much pressure... Case closed...
