im blowing trans oil out the front of my trans when I go up hill or take off.
I had someone pull the converter and change the shaft seal. I was told the shaft was scrached up he cleaned it with fine sand paper. it still blows oil.
ok question could the converter be cracked or is the trany pump shot?
it only leaks oil when I need torque. Its a 94 s10 2wd 4 banger 4L60e trans.

Its possible that your convertor has a hairline crack in it, but not so likely. You need to check inside the bell housing to see if its drenched with trans fuild. You said that its leaking from the front of you trans. Where exactly. I've found that the dip stick tub where it connects to the trans has a tendency to pop out and leak fluid. let us know.

oil drips out the hole in the converter plastic cover and it also is blown all over anything behind it including exhaust . remember in park no oil drips on flat road no oil smoke , up hill big cloud of smoke behind me when I look under the truck after I stop everything is covered.
