YES!! Peter Frampton is coming to the House of Blues in Chicago. "I want you, to show me the way." Now I'm really excited. I love free tickets. And Alter Bridge May 2nd! Sweet.

Just FYI, if you like Alter Bridge, I highly recommend seeing them in concert. I went to WAAAYY too many shows last year and Alter Bridge was by far the best. And I had seen Dream Theater, Deep Purple, Ted Nuggent, Steve Vai... an extensive list of big name acts and Alter Bridge wins hands down. Very worth while. Great stage presence, great sound, great experience.

I saw them in october when they were here in Duluth. 3 Days grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Seether are all fucking awesome. It was a kick ass concert.

I went to the Foo Fighters and Serj Tankian about a month ago in minneapolis at the Target Center, that was also a bomb concert.

I wish I would have gone to the Foo Fighters show... I called my friend Annie and she was there, I was quite pissed to find out that I missed it.

I was pretty seriously thinking about heading out to Washington state this on or around July 9th as Dragon Force is having a one off show with someone else before the start of the Rockstar Mayhem tour. If the tickets are cheap enough I would consider going to the Mayhem tour if it comes to MN, but I dont think I want to sit through all that other shit just to hear Dragon Force.

Killa, there is no way in hell the foo fighters can be said to suck. Almost everyone likes them regardless of their personal music preferences. They are that good.

And am I the only person who knows who/likes Serj Tankian (former lead singer of System of a Down?) His new cd Elect the Dead is awesome.

No, I knew who Serj is, but I think its bunk as hell that hes on his own. SOAD was the shit, did they break up or is it just a side project.

I've heard that they just took a "break" and are going to get back together. But they are getting old, they started in like '93 as SOIL and then their first SOAD album was in 98 I think. But yea all of their albums have kicked ass they need to get back together.

Dont get me wrong, Serj is a great singer and has a really dynamic voice but I HATE it when a person names their band after themselves! I think its arrogant as fuck and really detracts from the rest of the band. If you really need to have your name in a band, then it should be something like, "[Your name here] and the [something or others]." For instance, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

LOL, I've only heard the Empty Walls which is pretty good but no I don't have the CD yet. I said he sucked as cause he went solo, just cause he changes bands doesn't mean his voice is going to change. His music still sounds bamf.

He wrote all of the songs and did all of the music. He has a nice recording studio and he played all the instruments and blended it... so in actuality a band name would not be appropriate since he did it all.

OK, i'm thru track 3 on Elect The Dead so far and it sounds sweet. Still don't like the fact that he left them, but he's "movin on up, to the east side."

He didn't leave system they all took a break from it.
