Well, decided to try and replace the intake gasket that was leaking on my 99 malibu,$1200.00 was a little to much for me to spend.I was doing ok until I took the intake off and saw the gasket behind the push rods.I'm not to sure if I can handle it now,I have read that these valves are not adjustable, that you put the push rods back where they came from, and just torch the rocker bolts,is the right way to do this and if so what is the torch for the bolts.Any help would be appreciated,Thanks!

Torque, not torch. Any Haynes tells you what the torque should be. Most important is to get it right on the heads. And make sure you use the new intake gaskets - not those cheap ones from GM. Use Fel-Pro torubleshootrs, I believe. And read these threads - they have posted these answers before.
