...if the carcass/body/frame of the rear hatch is the same, between a fixed-glass and a flip-glass model??? ('95-'98) I would like to upgrade my fixed glass to the convenience of a flip-up glass on my '95 Orvis. Went to a couple wrecking yards yesterday shopping for an entire hatch that I could have repainted. As I looked at a few, I got to wondering if the hatch body was different. It would sure be easier/cheaper if I could remove my glass and just add the different glass, weatherstripping/molding, latch, hinges & struts...no repaint either! I saw a couple flip-glass hatches that had the inside trim removed...maybe if I pull my trim off and see mounts for the latch and holes for the flip-glass struts/hinges, it would be a good indicator. But I thought I'd tap te knowledge base here, first. Can anyone shed light on this subject? Thanks loads! Patrick

Your answer lie back at the salvage yard. Those fellows running the place have access to the database you need. They can cross reference any "part your after" against all the model years "it" will fit. I haven't found any easy source via which I can do this on my own on the web. (Yet)
