Audi R8 Racing

Hi,

here one of my current projects: Audi R8 Racing.

What I did so far:

front fenders widened, opening in the front hood, skirts widened, rear wheel wells widened, Naca duct in the roof, Cutting out the rear ares of the licence plate.

I like these projects from you, where alot of modifications are taking place. Looking forward to seeing the colour on this body.

Great Micha. Only part I would see different is the front hood vent: it breaks so much the R8 shae.. but I guess a racing beast need to breath/release hot air quick uh?

Are you wondering to use the new PE? I received today my sample, they looks no bad, TBH they looks good :D

Body is painted, decaled und painted with clear (not polished !!). When it is dry, the window-surroundings etc. will be painted black

This is extremely cool. The R8 is great in stock form, but in racing form it looks totally killer, especially with that wing. And the livery is a natural fit. Great work! Your scratchbuilding/body modding skills are fantastic.
