Rear End Popping - Possible bushing?

Hello all,

Obviously this will be ambigous, but I thought I would try. I have a 95' Passport, 3.2L/AT/2WD. It has 205k and is running great. Recently, I have had a popping coming from the rear end when negotiating hills/inclines/turns, basically when the rear shifts/torques. I have had a full sized pickup that had bushings go out in the rear/bed, thus causing a similar noise. Just installed new sensatrac's, the problem continues but is less pronounced.

I have heard the problem could be anything and everything from the U-Joints to the diff., but honestly I do not buy into them. The diff. has never been opened and the U-joints sound fine. Once again, it's only when the car shifts/sways on turns/small inclines.

Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Probably leaf spring bushings. They fail after a while and make all kinds of noises.
