AS the title says I put my exhaust on and wow what a difference. Way more throtle response and more power. And the note is sweet. My car has suprised me in many ways. I have beaten alot of things and I dont think i have last yet.

Hate to tell you man but there is no way in hell you beat all of those cars. A turbo 350z would rape you so bad. Those things are very fast when they are turboed. Srt4s would also take you pretty easy unless they suck at driving and spin a lot. The Sti would also smoke you. The cobalt and wrx would be closer.

Not try to bash your car or anything but for the mods you have you aren't going to be beating these cars.

Yeah I agree with Silvr. Cobalt SS arent that fast so you could hang with if not outrun one I believe,

But i highly doubt your ourunning srt4s and especially not srt8s.

Srt4s run 13's in stock form. Its very difficult to hit 13's on the t-25 turbo. Unless the car was f*ed up or the driver sucked really bad.

And just cause you say you were there doesn't hold any more weight than me saying your car isin't fast enough. You cant prove that you did win, I know a lot of people who exagerate and make up shit. (Not saying thats what your doing)

well for one........a modded srt4 up here (stage 2) ran a 14.2 and the turbo 350z ran a high 13.9's,cobalt ss with bolt ons ran a 13.9 and it was a tliek stage 2 or three i think.There is an srt4 here done up like everythign and he is running 13.4. I don't think srt4's are that fast really. Where I live my firends stock one (basically at least) is running 14.14 1/4 . I guess with a littl ebit better driver you could shave a few tenths but not really anything to be too worried about. The STI on the other thats low 13's much tougher race. AS for the 350z they advertise 14.2-13.9 1/4 mile add a turbo on that and well i guess it depends on a lot of things but faster than that.
Now the t-25 fastest I've ever seen is 13.7 by scottsee. If I had to guess with your mods I'd be guessing you are in mid low 14 second range. Which does make it a drivers race with most of the cars you mentioned. SO I'm not not saying you didn't beat them but I am skeptical that you handled them so cleanly without and proof.

Look dude, lieing to us about your conquests is proving nothing. First off, if you "didnt really push it," you'd be nowhere near a 13 second 1/4, and all of those cars you listed should be well into the 13's or better except maybe a stock WRX and stock Cobalt SS. And seriously now, your stock ass beating a Viper? :rolleyes: Give me a fucking break. Stock they ran low 13's in the early/mid 90's, low 12's from the late 90's to early 2000's, and once the SRT10's started they were at 11.7. Any of those would have eaten you alive, especially if it was a newer one.

Viper spinss soo hard it is hard to keep up with somethign AWD across an intersection if you are 500hp+ RWD.In my mind a eclipse GSX has mroe potential than a viper. Look at Shep. Besides him I have a buddy in Calgry who has a 98 talon tsi and is running low tens and it 100% streetable with a stereo.

It is AWD, I don't know why you guys are raggin on him so bad. I agree the 07 STI is a bad ass that could not possibly be taken down as easy as you describe. Gotta get some proof up here man.

There's no way you rightfully took a turbo'd z and a viper unless they were absolutley shitty drivers. I don't know about the rest, but those two I'm sure of.

OK... I wasn't gonna get into this thread at all but here it what I can say... Basically the only mods you have helping your performance is an intake, exhaust, and plug wires... That isn't very much... As a matter of fact, all I had was an intake, plugs and wires, and an afc and it was all I could do to run a 15.0... You argue that the Viper is RWD while you are AWD. Ok, that argument holds up when they are both high hp cars. But your GSX is definitely not a high hp car yet. You have maybe 10hp extra with your mods... Even if that Viper was spinning there is no way you beat him. And just in case anybody wants to say I have never seen a Viper in action, my one buddy has an entire shop of performance cars and he had 2 Vipers. I rode in the one and even with spinning I can honestly say there is no way a nearly stock DSM could touch it... Just no way... Now if you had a built DSM with some bigger turbo then maybe I would say it could be a close match. But still, your not gonna smoke a Viper...

I've heard a lot of stories like this over the last 6 years that I've been here and I've learned no matter who it is you can't take their word for it. The only viable proof you can offer is a video of it all... This is exactly why I have a little somethin somethin setup in my Talon to film any races I may have with it. Proof... :wink:

You've got to give SRT4's a little more credit. I didnt think they were anything special until we got one. My best time with mine is 13.99 but with a good driver could easily run 13.8 and its basically stock besides the mods in the sig.

With your mods, I doubt you're over even 200 whp. The intake wont do hardly jack for power on a basically stock car, plus the t25 is all but maxed out even stock boost IIRC. The only legit power mod is the downpipe and exhaust, and I doubt those netted you all too much. Good thing you've got link on the way though, I do have to give you props for that.

Stock SRT's are rated at 13.9-14.1, but getting decent times in that shouldnt be too hard. I checked my buddy's mod list, hes running 18 psi I think on the stock turbo, electric cutout downpipe, and bigger front mount and hes running 13.6's.

A boost controller is pretty much worthless on a t-25 and even so, your DSMLink is "on the way.." So right there you didn't even have anything to tune it with if you had been able to squeeze anymore boost out of that turbo. I know I wasn't able to squeeze anymore out of mine past the stock settings... Trust me, 10hp is a fair estimate to what you have added... I'm not trying to piss you off, I'm just stating the facts of the situation...

That said, I'll be more than happy to use my brother in law's wrecked srt4, minus 1/2 the front end and bald tires and put an end to this story. Oh did I mention I can't launch a FWd anybetter than a rubber band to the space shuttle. :screwy: It's HP number might not be impressive, but that car moves almost faster than I can shift it.

Then, after that, I'll run you in my GTA at 2 cylinders and 250HP less than a Viper and nursing a rebuilt trans.
