94 eclipse

okay guys got a 94 eclipse that takes about 45 seconds of cranking to start it will try and start but doesn't right away once started it runs fine and will start normal untill left sitting off for 30 mins just did a fuel system cleaning this is a customers cars he has already installed a ecm

their are so many things that can be apart of this "issue" some more detailes about the car would be nice...

if the car starts, and stays running every time, i say if its his main car, i would tell him to leave 45 seconds early... :2cents:

I had a similar problem. When one of my sensors was undone on the underside of the thermostat housing it would take a bit of cranking to get the car to start. After it started, it would go limp until it warmed up(revs stayed put, if you hit the gas it would choke the car) if everything there is plugged in, make sure your fuel pump relay is connected completely.

the car hasa 2.0 non turbo 5 speed, he has had a new fuel pump put in,new ecm, the car acts like it has no pressure i dont have a gage but have one coming to test fuel pressure
