Does the 2000 Crown Vic use a cabin filter. ???
Several parts sites list cabin filters for the CV, but I
cannot find anything in the manual to show that it
uses one.
Can anyone help.
Thanks,
up2u

I don't believe it has one. We have quite a few of those as Police cars and have never seen one in ours. Street versions may be a different story tho.

Way2Old,
Thanks for the fast reply.
I can't find anything in my manuals to indicate that there
is one either.

Hi everybody. I'm looking for the cabin filter in my '98 CVPI, but maybe it doesn't have one either.
BTW, where did Ford hide the blower resistor? Thanks

The 98 will not have a cabin filter. The blower resistor is on the A/C plenum under the hood. Look behind the passenger side of the engine and down about 4 inches.

I spotted it right behind the passenger valve cover just like you said. Thanks way2old. You're always extremely helpful.
