Ok this is my first time writing,...Initially, after I left my trunk open in a rain storm, my blower motor would stay on and traction light came on after awhile. My mechanic narrowed it down to a connector in the trunk (beneath the jack storage box) had gotten wet shorted and corroded. They cleaned it out, the system worked fine until I decided to clean out the connector again to be sure all te corrosion was taken care of. Unfortunately I failed to disconnect the battery first. (I'm sure you all are thinking "What a bone head!" Anyway after that the climate control started flashing after start up and heat comes out only from the driver side. Looking under the dash all actuators and levers apear to be moving when temperature and air flow is adjusted. I've already tried resetting the system by disconnecting the battery and re-connecting etc. Any suggestions are appreciated.:screwy:

I had the same problem..no heat on the passenger side. You said you checked the actuators, but that was my problem. The actuator motor for the heat door had failed. If you are getting heat on one side, my limited knowledge tells me somewhere there is a door not opening. Good luck with it.

Thanks, yeah I suspect something's out of whack electrically. When I wire brushed out the connector (the one in the trunk beneath the jack storage box) sparks happened. I'm thinking a circuit may have been made temporarily positioning the air mix door in the wrong position; in effect confusing the system. Obviously, I'm not sure. I would hate to pull the entire dash to find out later there was a simple solution.

HE TOLD ME TO take it to a buick dealer. he tried to fix one once he says it's a sensor that is gone . so your getting heat one side and air con. the other he says it will be cheaper to let them fix it then to rip everything apart to find it yourself.

I'm sure he can use the thousand bucks. I guess it depends how we look at it. I've already got all the trim off. I'll keep digging on my own for now.
