Ok this might be two different problems, but I hope not. First when I went to get in my 2002 Chevy Malibu my battery was dead, but not completly. I saw that my parking lights were real dim but the problem was my key was not in the ignition. I had to jump start my car then I took off to work. As I was driving my head lights went out. I had to take them off of automatic and put them on manuel. When i got to work I turned the car off and got out. I locked the door with the factory remot but the parking lights stayed on. I had to pull the fuse for the parking lights so it did not drain my battery. Any ideas on what it might be. I am thinking it might be a relay, but not sure and if it is I don't even know ware to start looking for the relay.

Well to kind of answer my own question I think/ or hope I got it fixed. I found the parking light controller in the fuse box under the hood. I found it when I disconnected battery and I could hear it clicking. So I pulled the controller out and swapped it withe the horn controller. After that it still had the same problem. I pulled the controller out and replaced it a couple more times and the problem was gone. I am thinking there might of been some build up in the socket ware the prongs of the controller go into, and by taking it in and out it cleaned it off. I have not had the problem for a couple of days now, but like anything else time will tell. The worse that can happen now if it was a controller that was sticking is my horn will start going off by itself. :iceslolan
