Same customer I built the vintage roadracing Falcon for... He wants a Chevy to match now. :p

But with a twist... As you can see sitting beside it. Just a teaser for now.

Nice start, I like your choice of engine too. Would be fun to detail after so many V-8's.

Body clearcoated and polished. Hard to see in my pics, but it's got a good shine. :uhoh:

So uuuuh... I went through all that effort... Then found out the motor is 1/24 scale and the Nova is 1/25. :banghead:

Anyone know where I can find a 250 straight six in 1/25 scale?

The trumpeter kit?

How much of a difference in size will going from 1/24 to 1/25 do? I don't think it is going to be very noticeable...

it's very noticeable when you're cramming the parts together. The engine is too long, too wide, "looks" out of proportion, and the carburetors just plain don't fit.

I have a buddy who's grabbing me one from a '51 Chevy, I think. Should work.

well I'm still working on getting the server working, but in the meantime, here's some progress pics of the Nova, complete with the CORRECT SCALE engine. I actually like this one better than the last engine anyway.

Some more updates... front and rear fascia together, still need to detail both, as well as add the door numbers and various decals... Still some engine bay detailing to do as well, most notably the master cylinder.
