I found 1 previous post with this problem (Merced in April of 05), but no follow up as to if the problem was fixed with a EEC fuse or was it the CPS sensor or something else.
My problem is the same ie., while driving, died, cranks fine but no restart, C ERR message in high speed idle unit.
Does anyone have more information?
Thank you

#22 fuse(under hood) was blown. Among other things this is the glow plug solenoid and the fuel bowl heater. My culprit was the solenoid.
Be prepared! Had I known then what I know now I could have disconnected the power to those two items and have been running in minutes (after replacing the fuse). Handy thing to think about in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere.:2cents:
